Since most of our projects fall into the category of "Design/Build", the concept is worth explaining. 

The idea of Design/Build is to get one organization to see a construction project from conception, through design and construction. There are many advantages in this concept, if the design/builder has the expertise and experience to provide all of the services required. Some of the more obvious being: better scheduling, tighter cost control, and a more focused design with less missteps and mistakes.

The biggest negative to this concept can be the owner losing the ability to competitively bid out the construction. We have solved this potential problem by offering architectural and engineering services to our clients, with no commitment for construction. We will compete with whomever the owner, his lender, or the owner's confidants determine are qualified construction competition. The owner remains free to select the construction where he chooses. 

However, in the 30 years we have been in business, we have never failed to win the construction when we prepare the designs and drawings. We win our client's trust, and then we perform and keep it.
